“The 2016 Pouilly-Fuissé Aux Bouthières is excellent, unfurling from the glass with a generous bouquet of honeyed peaches and buttered orchard fruit, accented by bright touches of citrus zest and flowers. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, textural and three-dimensional, with bright acids, excellent purity and a saline, mineral finish. It’s an attractively classical Pouilly-Fuissé that’s the highlight of this new producer’s portfolio.”
