Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru – 2011 – 92-94 points – Burghound.com
92 points

“This is even more expressive and more aromatically complex though ever-so-slightly less elegant and refined with a very fresh and layered nose of white flowers, citrus and perfectly ripe yellow orchard fruit aromas. Like the Bienvenues and the Combettes there is the same silky texture that adds interest to the tautly muscled and powerful big-bodied flavors that explode on the palate staining and notably dry finish. This is impressive but not necessarily more so than the Bienvenues, which is to say that they are qualitative peers.”
