Brut Rosé, North Coast – 2005 – 92 points – Connoisseurs’ Guide to California Wine
92 points

“The little brother to J. Schram Rose, this younger version is more oriented to Pinot Noir, which results in both greater frontal fruitiness here and a slight increase in heft. This wine is full of outgoing charm and richness with a fresh yeast accent and a mouthful of bubbles, and it is the wine to choose for informal occasions when the J. Schram would ask for more serious contemplation. It has been a consistent winner in these pages and is again. “
