Champagne Gosset Grand Rosé Brut – NV – The Wine Advocate – 92 Points
92 points
The Gosset NV Grand Rosé Brut has an intense salmon-pink color and opens with a very delicate and fresh bouquet of red berries intertwined with refreshing lemon and grapefruit, perhaps even kiwi notes. Pure, fresh and elegant on the palate, this blended rosé (50/50 Chardonnay/Pinot Noir with 8% of red wine) is light and finessed but well-structured and salty on the stimulating grippy finish. The Grand Rosé (dosage: eight grams per liter) remains an excellent Rosé Champagne whose grapes are sourced in famous villages such as Avize, Chouilly, Villers-Marmery, Bouzy, Ambonnay and Verzenay.
