Chardonnay, Estate, Kumeu — 2010 – Decanter – 93 Points

“Buttery toasty aromas – like a slightly overcooked pastry case – paired with really vibrant lime citrus. A pure Burgundy-alike, with a signature blend of minerality, toastiness and vibrant citrus. Purity of fruit that persists along the line of the palate to a fresh and moutwatering finish, still with unfurling layers of flavour even 14 years on. ‘In 2010 we used no new oak at all; frost in 2009 reduced yields to about half,’ says Paul Brajkovich of the Estate Chardonnay.”
