“Medium ruby-red. Brooding aromas of redcurrant, graphite, violet and spices. Sweet and pliant in the mouth but not soft, with pure flavors of dark plum, redcurrant and gunflint. Finishes with noble tannins and good backbone. This is currently still folded in on itself: I’d cellar it another two years prior to opening a bottle.”
