“From a village in the southern area of the Côte de Blancs and made entirely from Chardonnay, the NV Champagne Cote Vertus Premier Cru is a bright straw/silver color and offers more saline notes, with Meyer lemon, bright apples, bread dough, and hay. The palate is medium-bodied but has broader shoulders and offers a pithy and chalky texture that has real structure throughout. It’s not showing any signs of slowing down and remains very fresh. Drink it over the next 10-12 years.”
