Indaco, Toscana IGT – 2012 – 91 points – Wine & Spirits
91 points
“Indaco is a blend of malbec, cabernet sauvignon and merlot harvested from vineyards at up to 1,300 feet above the Tuscan coast near Bolgheri. It’s saturated with brambly purple fruit and infused with notes of vanilla and incense gained during 14 months in French oak barrels. A wave of cooling acidity sweeps through those rich fruit flavors, holding out the potential for more complexity after a few years in the cellar.”
