“Planted in 1939 and 1940, Mas de la Rosa is a vineyard in Porrera, Priorat, known for its cool climate. The 2020 Mas de la Rosa consists of 60% Cariñena and 40% Garnatxa, aged in a single 1000-liter foudre. Garnet in color, it offers enticing aromas of rich camphor and dried flowers, with a core of strawberry and pomegranate. On the palate, it is dry and silky, with a juicy flow and intense flavors, providing a loose yet structured mouthfeel. Similar to some great Italian wines, it is lightweight and tannin-free yet perfectly balanced. This pristine and delicious wine lingers long.”
