“Very pale, it brims with fresh strawberry and violets, a hint of cinnamon. A quintessential, precise expression of Nebbiolo, there is none of the peppery character found in less refined examples; instead, typical dried cherry notes and pleasing concentration. Crisp and supple, light and elegant with silky tannins. A delightful wine offering incredible quality for its price. With a small portion undergoing carbonic maceration, this is aged solely in stainless steel for eight months, of which two are on the fine lees.”
