It’s plush and enveloping with a balancing core of tart wild berries, all guided by brisk acidity as an air of cola and hints of tangerine add contrast toward the close. The 2022 finishes long and staining, only gently tannic, with a chalky mineral tinge and rosy inner florals that resonate. This remarkably pretty Pinot is so giving and fresh yet possesses a balancing tension. It’s a pleasure to taste.”
