“From 2012 to 2020, the NV Champagne NV De Luxe was under the Bereche label, but now it’s under the label of winemaker Juliette Alips. Made from 80% Pinot Noir and the rest Chardonnay, it’s intended to show the power of Aÿ and has the 2012 vintage as its base. This has a lot going on, offering a really beautiful, lovely mousse and a graceful feel of refinement, yet it’s packed with elegance and power at the same and has a clean, chalky finish. Drink it over the coming 15 or more years.”
