“Brilliant golden amber. Vivid aromas of toffee, hazelnut, burnt caramel, almond paste and white chocolate are given pungency and lift by a whiff of volatile acidity and a touch of alcohol. On the palate, this light-to-mid-weight Vin Santo is fresh and clean, neither extremely sweet nor syrupy. But its bright hazelnut, dried apricot and caramel-filled white chocolate flavors give it considerable appeal. Very smooth-grained and persistent.”
