Chardonnay, Ritchie Vineyard, Russian River Valley — 2021

“It’s a stunner in the glass, with loads of layered depth and complexity, and it checks a ton of boxes. The nose opens to luxurious aromas of white peach, citrus blossoms, marzipan, wet stone minerality, and citrus oils. Full-bodied, the palate gains fantastic glycerol richness while staying light on its feet, with seamless acidity and a long finish. Its oak spice frames the wine with precision, giving it a refined, polished feel and offering a Grand Cru-esque sensibility.”

Pinot Noir, Kanzler Vineyard, Russian River Valley — 2021

“Coming exclusively from the older plantings of the vineyard, the deep ruby/magenta 2021 Pinot Noir Kanzler Vineyard saw 20% whole cluster in fermentation. In the glass, it boasts a gorgeous perfume of lavender, black raspberries, graphite, and elegant high-toned spices that frame the wine beautifully. Medium-bodied, it has an expansive feel throughout the palate, with lovely balance, a seamless feel, even acidity, ripe tannins, and a long finish. It’s gorgeous all the way through.”

"Juicy, punchy and forthright, with a mix of loganberry, black cherry and boysenberry fruit flavors leading the way. Gently singed black tea and hibiscus notes fuel the finish as the fruit lingers."

"Punchy and still quite primal, displaying a burst of plum, black cherry and boysenberry fruit flavors supported by bright, almost perky acidity and laced with notes of singed apple wood and dried anise on the toasty finish. A youthful tumble right now, but some cellaring should ease this into full equilibrium."
