Reviews

  • Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru – 2009 – 96 points – Burghound.com

“An ultra-pure and high-toned nose of mineral-based reduction, spiced pear and acacia blossom gives way to overtly stony and quite finely detailed broad-shouldered flavors that…are crystalline in their transparency.”

  • Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru – 2009 – 94 points – Wine Spectator

“Broad and muscular, this white evokes nut oil, smoke, butterscotch, peach, melon and spice flavors. Still a bit raw and unformed, with a long expansive finish. Turns creamier and silkier with aeration.”

  • Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru – 2009 – 98 points, A Year’s Best White Burgundy – Wine & Spirits

“…a sunny purity, an umami fragrance of the earth and a lemon blossom honey scent that feigns sweetness later revealed as savory richness in a finish that raises this wine into another realm."

  • Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru – 2009 – (93-96) points – Burghound.com
