St. Helena, CA (May 29, 2015) — Wilson Daniels’ Italian winery partners will unite next month, June 9-12, 2015, in three distinct locations across the U.S. for the first-ever “The Italians Are Coming!” tour, showcasing the growing influence of some of Italy’s hottest producers in the company’s prestigious portfolio.

The tour will kick off in Houston, Texas, move to Atlanta, Georgia, and finish in Washington, D.C., with winemaker dinners, tastings and other events centered on introducing the trade, media and consumers to Wilson Daniels’ new Italian partners and wine selections: Buglioni, Castello di Volpaia, Coronato, Elvio Cogno, Insoglio del Cinghiale, Prelius and Tenuta Sette Cieli. Winemakers and winery principals will present their wines to offer in-depth perspectives on their respective estates.

Coravin is a supporting sponsor for the event, the system that has revolutionized restaurant wine by-the-glass listings and wine tasting offerings. The Coravin device has opened the wine trade to the unique opportunity to pour limited-release and older vintages that otherwise would have remained for sale only by the bottle.
