“Domaine Leflaive’s 2.84-acre parcel in this vineyard is one of its oldest plantings, the vines dating to the late 1950s. It was in an effort to save these vines that Anne-Claude Leflaive and Pierre Morey turned to biodynamics in the early 1990s. The 2008 is a powerful wine: Tight and spicy, this is hard to access in its youth and built for long aging.”
