“The 2011 Barolo Cascina Nuova is gorgeous. Sweet red berries, mint, cinnamon and wild flowers all meld together in a supple, racy Barolo loaded with class and personality. Even in 2011, the Cascina Nuova is fresh and perfumed to the core. A hint of orange peel and star anise adds exotic flair on the finish. The 2011 spent 40 days on the skins, followed by two years in cask.”
