“Has a competent if somewhat reticent bouquet that gradually unfurls: apple peelings, touches of nectarine and almond. Though it is nicely focused, It never takes off like I wish it would. The palate is much more promising with well-judged acidity and judicious oak use, opening up with time to reveal a pleasant sour lemon touch towards the finish.”
