“A distinctly earthy and slightly rustic nose of various dark berry fruit scents that is trimmed in noticeable wood is ripe but not overly ripe in the fashion of some 2009s. There is good concentration to the delicious and relatively big-bodied flavors that possess good if not truly special depth on the mouth coating and mocha-inflected finish where the wood treatment expressed by the nose resurfaces.”
