The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is quite pretty. The addition of 17% Malbec gives the wine notable texture and richness. Plums, red cherries, mocha and spices are all beautifully delineated in the glass, but it is the wine’s total sense of balance that truly stands out. This effortless, gracious Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon should drink well for the next decade-plus.
