Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières – 2012 – 91 – 93 points – The Wine Advocate

“The 2012 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatiéres has slightly less new oak than the Clavoillon, at approximately 20% of the blend. It has a more intense bouquet compared to the Clavoillon, with lovely almond and fumé scents, almost like a Meursault Perriéres in style. The palate is medium-bodied with a sorbet-like freshness on the entry. This is a very pretty, more expressive premier cru from Anne-Claude that builds toward the orange zest and lemon peel-infused finish. Excellent.”
