“A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot, mainly from St. Helena, it’s concentrated in blackberries, black currants, violets, licorice and new French oak, with a long, spicy finish. The tannins are quite strong, and a burst of zesty acidity makes it tart and piquant, like cranberries.”
