A supple, harmonious red, showing some softening, with cherry, leather and wild herb flavors well-integrated into the lacy structure. Reveals a lingering essence of sweet fruit, black tea and graphite on the finish. Best from 2019 through 2032.

“Makes an assertive statement, with rich, loamy earth, dark berry, licorice, mocha and crushed rock flavors, holding focus and gaining depth and nuance. Maintains complexity from start to finish...”

"Violet and lilac aromas make way for blackberry and cherry flavors in this detailed, lacy red. Vibrant and well-structured, with a mouthwatering finish permeated by fruit."

"... offering scents of subtle saline minerality, menthol and almond paste. Fat, rich and fine-grained on the palate, with ripe peach and pineapple fruit flavors conveying an excellent balance of sweetness and acidity. The firm, rising finish shows terrific pineappley cut and a tannic touch."

"... displaying lovely floral lift to its yellow fruit and spicy oak flavors. The smoothest of these 2015s to this point, showing a restrained sweetness and ripe framing acidity to its peach and pineapple flavors. A stony underpinning gives this very suave wine an impression of power to go with its balance..."

"... Reticent, classic aromas of peach flesh and pit with smoky minerals. Deeper and more powerful in the middle palate than the Folatières but tightened in the early going by strong lemony acidity and thus less silky and refined today. The firm-edged finish reveals a repeating lemony element and a touch of phenolics..."

Silky and full but surprisingly light on its feet, showing captivating floral lift and definition to its lemon, peach and smoky mineral flavors. This vibrant, fine-grained wine coats the cheeks and leaves the mouth refreshed."

"...offering aromas of ripe peach, smoke and minerals. Fat on entry, then powerful and unevolved in the middle palate, with strong pineappley acidity keeping the wine from coming off as heavy. Finishes adamantly dry and firm, with a dusty tannic quality and a note of menthol..."

"...High-pitched aromas of pineapple, peach pit and redcurrant are lively and pure. Silky, fine-grained and sweet, with harmonious acidity and penetrating chalky minerality giving the fresh orchard fruit flavors terrific precision. At once seamless and gripping, this impeccably balanced wine finishes with a subtle whiplash of flavor that leaves the salivary glands humming."

“It initially has a more introspective bouquet that demands coaxing, but it is worth the effort as it reveals pure Morello cherry, red currant and cranberry scents that are neatly interlaced with minerals. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chalky tannins. There is plenty of energy in this Moulin-à-Vent...”

"The finest Rosé yet from this estate, the 2016 Vaucluse Rosé sports a salmon/pink tinged color to go with clean, crisp, fabulously perfumed notes of orange rind, citrus and salty minerality. While this beauty has depth and texture, it has thrilling cut and purity on the palate as well. Count me as a fan and I’d be thrilled to drink bottles over the coming 6-7 months."

"One of the gems is the 2016 Vaucluse Pont des Arts Rosé, which is up there with the finest Rosés produced. It offers beautiful strawberry, wild flowers, wet stone and framboise notes in a medium-bodied, clean, impeccably balanced style that spans the gap between the lightly flavors Provencal Rosés and the richer Tavel styled Rosés. It’s going to shine on the dinner table over the coming summer months, and I suspect drink nicely even through the winter."

"Wild berry, iris, rose and a potpourri of culinary spice aromas emerge on the nose of this stunning red. Radiant and full bodied, the palate is young and primary at this stage but already evokes morello cherry, licorice, pipe tobacco and aromatic herbs. Bright acidity and taut tannins provide impeccable balance and an impressive, age-worthy structure. Cellar Selection."

"Red berry, rose petal, white pepper and chopped herb are just some of the aromas you’ll find on this. The bright full-bodied palate delivers crushed raspberry, dark cherry, star anise and tobacco alongside firm refined tannins and vibrant acidity. It’s already tempting but will be even better with more bottle age."
