“The amber-golden colour of the wine is flecked with pink and the nose opens with notions of rosehip tisane and dried raspberry leaf. The palate is both super-creamy and brisk, testament to Gosset’s non-malolactic style. Interchanging notions of sourdough and salty shortbread denote the long ageing. While fruit has receded, there is a certain Pinot-driven generosity and ample juiciness. The palate remains absolutely fresh and poised with a very fine mousse and a textural richness that speaks of profound chalk. This has all the makings of a gastronomic Champagne.”

"A graceful rosé Champagne, with an enticing mix of mineral, ripe fruit and floral aromatics wafting from the glass, while detailed notes of baked white cherry and yellow peach, chopped almond, fleur de sel, grated ginger, orchard blossoms and chalk ride the fine, raw silklike texture on the palate."

“The 2012 Celebris makes its case as the finest release of the house in recent times, marrying taut and precise Chardonnay (that includes the freshness of cooler crus Cuis and Grauves) with a supporting frame of fragranced Pinot Noir to delicate yet persistently complex effect. Toasted almond, citrus peel and ripe pear are brought forward by sweet, fragrant cherry, strawberry tart and orange blossom notes, the structure narrow but filled out with subtle nougat richness and a powdery, chalky length. A quiet, elegant mousse. Integrated, focused and ageworthy.”

“A firm, focused Champagne, with hints of smoke and toasted brioche accenting poached apricot, lemon curd, pastry dough and candied ginger. Creamy on the palate, with racy acidity driving the spiced finish. Opens nicely in the glass and should benefit from some short-term cellaring.”

"A vibrant rosé Champagne, with firm, well-honed acidity deftly wrapped in a smooth texture and rich notes of marzipan, dried white cherry, blood orange peel and salted Marcona almond. Reveals hints of ground ginger, lemon thyme and wet chalk, with a long, lasting finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay."

Long and mouthwatering on the creamy finish, echoing spice and saline notes.”

“The Champagne is showing signs of just turning towards maturity, giving it impressive longevity. The wine's white fruits, green-plum and citrus flavors have now muted as a rich nutty character develops. This is a great moment to drink the wine.”

“Fruity while also textured. It is a structured wine, full of minerals and still amazingly young. With its freshness almost entirely intact and few signs of maturity, it could obviously age further.”

“Having retained all its youthful acidity because there was no malolactic fermentation, the Champagne is brilliantly lit. Acidity and a light texture from the Pinot Noir in the blend give the wine a crisp edge with still-young citrus.”

“A fruity rosé Champagne, this is fresh with a fine touch of red-currants. It does have a little bottle aging, with a yeasty ripeness. The wine has bright acidity at the end.”
