Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru – 2012 – 96 points – Wine Spectator Insider
"A powerful, intense white, boasting lemon, apple, pear and mineral flavors, shaded by oak spice. Beautifully balanced and fresh, this young wine needs time to reach its full potential. Shows terrific length on the finish."

Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru – 2012 – It’s All About The Bling – Twelve Absurdly Expensive Liquid Gift Ideas – Forbes
“One of the biggest, and grandest of white Burgundies…2012 resulted in a small crop of intense, tightly focused wines, at least in the hands of top producers like Domaine Leflaive. A stunning wine to accomplish the most luxurious fish.”

Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru – 2012 – 92 – 94 points – The Wine Advocate
"…laconic stony, mineral bouquet with sea spray scents surfacing with time. The palate is very well-balanced with crisp acidity…there is a touch of spice that becomes more accentuated with time…this will be fascinating to watch age."

Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru – 2012 – 93-95 points – Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar
"Sexy aromas of peach, nectarine and brown spices, plus hints of wild cherry and fraise des bois. Quite full, rich and powerful, with a distinctly…mineral flavor. This ripe, brooding wine finishes with inexorable persistence"
