IDDA
Bianco Sicilia DOP
IDDA Bianco embodies the elegance of the south-facing slopes of Mount Etna. Crafted entirely from Carricante grapes, this is the centerpiece of the Gaja and Graci families’ collaboration and reflects their dedication to showcasing the unique terroir of this iconic volcanic region. The wine boasts vibrant notes of citrus, orange blossom, and minerality, balanced with refreshing acidity and a delicate texture, a sophisticated expression of Mount Etna’s southern side.

This wine shows wisteria, cantaloupe, and marzipan, with a clear citrus note. Hydrocarbon hints pop up to follow on the nose. This wine is complex with a firm texture, minerality, yet a vibrant acidity. It opens up on the palate with peach, passion fruit, and papaya notes. The oak is well integrated; the finish is crisp and lingering.

"Flinty – with a ferrous note – Idda 2023 bursts with pineapple and lychee aromas, then a concentration of rich, round yet fresh exotic fruits. The wood is evident but subtle, adding texture. There's a lovely mid-palate sapidity which counteracts the richness and makes you want to go back immediately for another sip. Close you eyes and imagine drinking this by the glimmering sea with a plate full of gambero rosso di Mazara."
