    • In terms of precipitation, 2020 was a normal year, but most of the rain was concentrated over the early vegetative cycle. The rest of the season saw a long stretch without any rainfall. The ripening period was mostly dry with a little rainfall in mid-September when the harvest was already underway. The harvest started under drought conditions, which also brought down yields. Temperatures were above average in 2020, although the end of the growth season was milder than normal.

    • 3 hours of skin contact and fermented in stainless steel tank under controlled temperatures for 15 days

    • Aging: Aged on lees for 4 months

  • Tasting Notes

    • Brilliant pale gold in color. The nose reveals distinctive aniseed and herbaceous notes with undertones of fruit. Silky and full on entry, with a backbone of clean acidity that carries through on the long, persistent finish.

    Fresh pear, lemon and grapefruit pith, flint and lemon grass on the nose. Medium-bodied with bright acidity. Excellent fruit concentration and texture.
