RouteStock Cellars crafts wines from the signature varietals grown along the wine routes one travels when visiting the world’s most celebrated wine regions. We are pleased to share with you the release of our Carneros Chardonnay, inspired by the fog-shrouded, wind-swept stretch of Highway 121 known as the Carneros Highway.

By identifying prime, family-owned vineyard sources along this blustery highway, we have created a wine that reminds us why Carneros is such a great place to grow Chardonnay.

Fifty percent of the wine went through malolactic fermentation. The final blend spent an average of six months in French oak, 30% of which was new.

This aromatic Chardonnay captures the essence of Carneros with notes of tropical fruit, peach blossoms and apricots. Subtle minerality, refreshing acidity and oak aging work in harmony to create a wine that is enjoyable as an aperitif or with a wide range of foods.
