Ruby red in color with clear purple reflections. The nose is powerful, and concentrated and exudes notes of black cherry and spice. The palate is rich and smooth with good energy and concentration. The finish is elegant. An excellent wine for cellar aging

"Really cool and stony for the very warm vintage, this is a great expression of Corton with bright red berry fruit and a touch of blood oranges but all the structure we expect from this amazing site. The straight, long finish has a radical minerality that makes this extremely exciting. From organically grown grapes. Matured in a half-and-half mix of new oak barriques and once-used casks."
