Domaine Faiveley
Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru
This climat was called “Petite Merveille” (Little Wonder) in the Middle Ages, a sign of the high quality of the wines produced here. “Latricières-Chambertin” dates back to 1508 and is the most southern Grand Cru in Gevrey-Chambertin. This wine reveals an exceptional balance between minerality (reminiscent of Clos de la Roche) and depth (close in style to a Chambertin).
The Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru vineyard spans 1.21 hectares and is planted to vines dating from 1958, 1984, and 1989, with an eastern exposure. The site is organically farmed and Certified Organic beginning with the 2025 vintage. Its shallow, limestone-rich soils, topped with a layer of silica, contribute to the vineyard’s precision, structure, and distinctive mineral expression.

Intense ruby red hue and complex nose offering rich roasted notes and spice. The palate opens up with rich, silky tannins that give way to a powerful and complex structure.

"There’s a compelling display of fruit as this red leads off, featuring cherry, raspberry, currant, rose and mineral flavors. The dense structure catches up midpalate and leaves a solid grip on the finish. Overall, this is balanced, with a detailed aftertaste that unfolds with fruit, mineral and toasty oak elements."
