Esprit Gassier, Côtes de Provence
International Wine Review
"Pale copper tinged pink and showng minerals, rose petals and strawberry scents, As always, the Esprit Gassier is a delight to drink, but the 2016 vintage is a step above the norm. Beautifully balanced with bright acidity married to light red berry fruit, a hint of tangerine, and a hint of wet river stones. Great by itself or with seafood or fowl."
"Notes of strawberry and watermelon give this lively, pale rosé a refreshing, thirstslaking acidity. Serve it well chilled, with garlicky or briny appetizers, or a good Nicoise salad, and imagine you’re on the Riviera..."
"Light bright orange-pink. Aromas of pungent red berries, cherry and blood orange; a minerally element adds vivacity. Sappy and seamless in texture, offering spice-tinged raspberry, tangerine and candied rose flavors that deepen and spread out with air. Smoothly plays richness off vivacity and finishes long and focused, displaying a subtle mineral quality and a hint of candied orange zest."
