Esprit Leflaive
Pouilly-Fuissé Le Clos Reyssier
Located on a hillside with East exposure in the town of Chaintré at the southern end of Pouilly-Fuissé. Given its position lower down the slope, soils can be " heavier" (with greater clay content) with a tendency to produce wines with less minerality or freshness than those further up the slope. The climat was granted Premier Cru status from the 2019 vintage and onward.

"An opulent style, revealing honey, butterscotch, peach, lemon and stone aromas and flavors. Though rich, this white is focused by vivid acidity, which keeps everything balanced and long on the resonant finish."
— Bruce Sanderson, 2024
