IDDA
Etna Rosso DOP
IDDA Etna Rosso is the refined red wine made at IDDA from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes, cultivated on the south-facing slopes and north-facing slopes of Mount Etna. Representing the Gaja and Graci families’ partnership, this wine showcases the volcanic terroir with subtle finesse. It offers aromas of red berries, wild herbs, and spices, complemented by silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and a mineral backbone, a harmonious expression of Mount Etna's southern slopes.

"The nose is spicy and warm, with aromas of Mediterranean herbs, citrus, cherry blossoms and terra cotta, and a cooling sea breeze blowing through it all. Cherries and orange slices define the palate, but lots more herbs and soil provide balance, and acid adds a bright punchiness, even as the fruit gives warmth and comfort."
