Mirabelle
Brut Rosé North Coast NV
Twenty years into building an outstanding range of vintage-dated sparkling wines, the Davies family set out to master the non-vintage or “multi-vintage” traditional method technique. A few years of experimentation would ultimately lead to the successful launch of Mirabelle Brut and Mirabelle Brut Rosé in 1992. Starting in 2022, the Mirabelle packaging began to designate a bottling number, providing specificity to each bottling of Mirabelle and highlighting the vintage, which is primarily included in the blend.
Vintage Factsheets
The grapes for Mirabelle are grown in the cool-climate pockets of California’s North Coast, including the Napa, Carneros, Sonoma Coast, Anderson Valley, and Marin County. The fruit is hand-picked in the early morning hours at optimal maturity. Individual lot fermentations allow the winemakers to carefully select the components that make up the finished blend.

The Mirabelle Brut Rosé greets the nose with aromas of raspberry, apricot, orange zest, and pink lemonade, with warm notes of baked brioche and sugar cookie. The palate is lively in length with a juicy center, supported by flavors of crisp apple and strawberry. Cara Cara orange and pineapple layers carry a zingy acid and a quenching finish.

"The bubbles of this wine are superfine, with notes of fresh red berries, citrus zest and slight yeast on the nose. Flavors on the midpalate suggest concentrated peach, pear, orange marmalade and creamsicle. The dry, supple finish brings almonds and apricot slices."
