With lightly woody notes, the intensity of the fruit is grandiose, and the barrel ageing blends delicacy and elegance. The finesse of Pinots Noir from Montagne de Reims Nord charms us.

2022
"I love the nose of the 2022 Coteaux Champenois Rouge Les Monts Fournois. In the glass, it’s a youthful medium ruby color and offers notes of fresh red and purple flowers, red berries, and hints of cherry. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied, with more wild raspberries, delicate smoky earth, fine tannins, and an elegant feel on the palate (like all the wines in the range). As it opens, the fruit of the raspberry becomes clearer and more floral, with a rose perfume starting to shine, and it moves from forest to sunshine in the glass. I love it, and it might be even better than I am giving it credit for. It evolves gorgeously in the glass and is likely to have a wide window for enjoyment over the coming 15 or more years."
