Vintage Factsheets
The vineyards producing Tenuta Sette Cieli's Noi4 wine are rooted in sustainable and organic viticulture practices, ensuring both environmental stewardship and high-quality grape production. The vines were planted in 2003, with the goal of crafting wines that reflect the unique terroir of the estate. The soil composition in the vineyard is a balanced mix of 40% sand, 30% clay, and 30% silt, providing excellent drainage while retaining enough moisture for the vines to thrive. This combination allows for optimal vine health and contributes to the complexity of the resulting wines. With a West/East exposure, the vines receive ideal sunlight, benefiting from both the morning and afternoon sun, which promotes even ripening and the development of rich, concentrated flavors in the grapes. The spurred cordon training system is employed to manage the vines efficiently, ensuring balanced growth and consistent fruit production.

A blend born of the desire to explore new territories, refined in barriques for 8 months. This wine is very expressive. It’s characterized by a very elegant nose, fresh fruitiness, balanced acidity, good persistence with an interesting minerality. In the mouth the tannins are very soft and round.

2022
"A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc from the estate’s lower elevation vines, the 2022 Noi4 spent eight months in 40% new French oak barrels. It has a deeper, purple-toned color and reveals more depth on the nose, with aromas of candied lavender, blackberries, sweet Mediterranean herbs, and vanilla. The palate is full-bodied with ripe tannins, an inviting, juicy midpalate, and a lightly savory finish with notes of tea leaves. It’s a lovely wine at this early stage and should have a wide drinking window over the coming 8-10 years."
