  • Vineyard Profile

    • In old country houses known as “pazos”, surrounded by forests and vineyards, Galician witches conjured up spirits through magic and dance. And so the sap, the lifeblood, coursed through the vines, filling them with vitality. Like the Albariño grapes that give birth to this wine.

    • Appellation: DO Rías Baixas
  • Vintage Report

    • In Rías Baixas, 2019 was a rainy year, and the water stored in the soil contributed to the optimal development of the grapes. Although the summer was generally mild, August temperatures were high, which caused the grapes to ripen quickly, reaching the desired alcohol content and acidity by the end of that month.

  • Familia Torres Pazo das Bruxas, DO Rías Baixas — 2019 – Decanter – Gold Medal Winner – 95 Points

This is intense with exceptionally concentrated fruit, mouthwatering acidity and a fine texture to the palate. Then there is the mineral finish that goes on and on. Could not be more different from the everyday Albarinos.

  • Familia Torres Pazo das Bruxas, DO Rías Baixas — 2019 – James Suckling – 90 Points

A fresh, vivid white with lemon and light crushed-stone character. Medium body and a crisp finish. Drink now.
