  • Vineyard Profile

    • Our Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is crafted to celebrate the depth and potential of the combination of this grape and region. Since 2017, the three clones for this bottling (Pommard, 667 and 777) have been sourced from two specific vineyards; one about 1.5 miles from the coast in northwest Sonoma County, and the other in the southern part of the appellation near the Petaluma Gap AVA. The resulting wine is equal parts celebration and exploration of the best of California Pinot.

    • Appellation: Sonoma Coast
  • Vintage Report

    • A relatively dry winter brought an early spring with fruit set about two weeks ahead of normal and relatively abundant. The growing season in the Sonoma Coast is tempered by proximity to the cool Pacific Ocean and elevation, keeping the heat spikes of 2019 at bay. Harvest was in late August in perfect conditions.

    • Medium-light color, explosive nose of strawberry, fall leaves and clove with dynamic flavors of classic Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir including warm red fruit, bay laurel, bright cherries, autumnal foliage and a kiss of toasty oak. This is an amazing complex pinot with great depth, bright richness and length.
