Jeio
Brut Prosecco Rosé DOC
In the new Jeio Doc Rose the blend of Giera and Pinot Nero creates a wine that is able to transmit the beauty of nature and place in which it has its origins. Valdobbiadene, the hamlet in which winemaking is truly privileged for its unique position between Cortina d’Ampezzo, “Queen of the Dolomites,” and Venice, with its millennial appeal infused with culture, artistic splendor and history. Agronomic attention is at its highest amongst the rows of vines cultivated with the “double curtain” and “sylvoz” training systems, where every decision is taken in full respect for the environment, the ecosystem and biodiversity.
The Jeio Rosé comes from the picturesque town of Follina, located in the heart of the steep hills of the Prosecco region. This area, known for its unique landscape of terraced vineyards, was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019 due to its centuries-old viticulture tradition and breathtaking scenery. The vineyards here are meticulously tended, taking advantage of the steep, sun-drenched slopes that offer ideal conditions for producing high-quality wines. These hills are known for their exceptional terroir, where the combination of soil, climate, and elevation creates a perfect environment for growing grapes with distinctive character and flavor. The Jeio Rosé captures the essence of this historic region, offering a wine that reflects both the heritage and the natural beauty of Follina and its surroundings.

The Jeio DOC Rosé is the blend of Glera and Pinot Nero. It has a delicate pink color reminiscent of pink coral or a dream Venetian dawn characterized by a fine, creamy and persistent perlage. On the nose it releases refined notes of rose, lily of the valley, touches of fresh citrus fruit, a slight vinosity and is evocative of wild strawberries. On the palate it is fine, complex and inviting. It has great sapidity and is compact and pleasingly quaffable.

"White cherries and pink grapefruit lead the aromatics with a subtle hint of apple blossom. Light and bright on the palate with tart red-currant notes weaving through. The finish remains fresh and ethereal, lifting effortlessly off the palate. A quintessential aperitivo."
