Rosso di Montalcino DOC Vigna Spuntali
This complex Rosso di Montalcino illustrates the generosity of the southern sector of the appellation with the grace of the wine type and the freshness of a Sangiovese taking into consideration less oak aging than the Brunello. Sourced 100% from the estate's famous Vigna Spuntali.
Vintage Factsheets
This vineyard spans 15 hectares on the southwestern slopes of Montalcino, at an elevation of 300 meters above sea level. The soil is composed of sands derived from degraded Pietraforte stone, which provides excellent drainage and helps concentrate the flavors in the grapes. The vineyard is cultivated using regenerative viticulture practices, promoting soil health and sustainability. With vines that are 10 years old, the site benefits from a dynamic balance of youthful vigor and established growth.

“Dark depths of wilted violets, cedar, cloves, worn leather and dried strawberry form a seductive old-world bouquet as it blossoms in the glass. This sweeps across the palate with a mineral-laden blend of orange and tart red berries as edgy tannins slowly mount toward the close.”
