Sugarille is the name given to the parish estate, as a result of the inventory drawn up in 1547 by canon Giovanni Sampieri. In italian, "sughero" means cork, as to indicate that in the area, there were a lot of cork trees. Sugarille is the name both of the vineyard and the wine.

Even deeper hues of concentrated ruby-red color than the Rennina. The nose begins with sweet notes of cotton candy, pomegranate, and hints of tea rose all culminating in a savory mouthfeel, a classic style of this vineyard. The tannins are rich and silky.

"Macerated cherry, plum, fruitcake and iron flavors signal this ripe, brooding red. Offers plenty of fruit and a glycerol texture midpalate. Backed by broad, dusty tannins, leaving a clipped feel on the gripping finish despite the lingering essence of sweet fruit."
