Mirabelle Story
Twenty years into building an outstanding range of vintage-dated sparkling wines, the Davies family set out to master the nonvintage or “multi-vintage” traditional method technique. A few years of experimentation would ultimately lead to the successful launch of Mirabelle in 1992. The grapes for Mirabelle come from the same cool-climate, North Coast vineyards as Schramsberg’s vintage-dated wines, and the quality focus in winemaking is identical. Unlike Schramsberg’s vintage bottlings, Mirabelle gains unique depth from blending additions of aged base wines from prior vintages.
