LONDON (June 20, 2013) – Bar Boulud, the French-inspired bistro and wine bar at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park under the direction of renowned Chef Daniel Boulud, was last night named winner of “Best Restaurant Wine List” at Taste of London 2013 by a stellar panel of judges. Having celebrated its third anniversary in May 2013, this latest accolade further celebrates its position as one of London’s most popular dining spots.

Under the direction of Head Sommelier David Vareille, Bar Boulud’s wine list features an impressive selection of wines by the glass and by the bottle with a focus on the Rhône and Burgundy regions. Serving great wine by the glass from rare, large-format bottles at the table is also a Bar Boulud trademark and throughout the summer season, Vareille will be opening a selection of 3-litre jeroboams of 2011 Chêne Bleu Rosé from his cellar, exclusive to the restaurant in the UK –  delicious to taste and a spectacle to watch!

Bar Boulud serves a full bistro menu, based on seasonal, rustic French cooking, including an array of charcuterie specially prepared onsite by a world class Charcutier. A selection of bar snacks and cocktails are also available in the buzzing Bar and Lounge, until 1am Monday to Saturday (and midnight Sundays).
