Clau de Nell: Anne-Claude Leflaive’s New Red Wines From the Loire

ST. HELENA, CA (August 28, 2013) – Wilson Daniels is introducing to the U.S. market the latest project from famed Burgundy producer Anne-Claude Leflaive: an exciting new Loire Valley winery called Clau de Nell.

Anne-Claude and her husband Christian Jacques acquired the winery and surrounding vineyards in 2008, bringing with them the passion for biodynamic viticulture and high winemaking standards that have placed Domaine Leflaive among the very top ranks of Burgundy producers. This gem of a property, consisting of nearly 20 contiguous acres, a winery and limestone “troglodyte” wine caves, lies in the Anjou region of the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With vines ranging in age from 30 to 90 years, the domaine has been in existence for over 100 years.
