Schramsberg Vineyards: Vineyard Sources
Hugh Davies, vintner and president of Schramsberg Vineyards, talks about how the winery’s vineyard sources have evolved over the years: Starting in the 1960s with just a handful of vineyards in close proximity to the winery in the Diamond Mountain District, to today working with more than 100 sites in Mendocino county, Anderson Valley, down through the Sonoma Coast and into the northern part of Marin county, Schramsberg is continually looking to up the ante and learn more with each passing year — a philosophy that works well for them.
