Champagne Gosset
21 Ans de Cave a Minima Extra Brut NV
The majority of the blend is made up of Chardonnay, which creates finesse and elegance, while the Pinot Noirs add fruitiness and structure. Bottled at the end of the spring following the harvest, and aged for a minimum of 21 years on the lees in the cellar. The dosage is carefully selected to preserve the balance between freshness, fruit and vinosity without masking the wine’s character and purity.

Golden hue, characteristic of the wine’s maturity. Aromas of dried fruit: apricots and candied pineapple, followed, after a few minutes, and aromas of chestnut honey. The WINEMAKING Varietals: palate opens with a rich expression of plums and other yellow fruits and a blend of candied citrus fruit. The midpalate shows nice structure and density with notes of light tobacco. This “ennobled by time” quality is balanced on the finish by a surprising mineral freshness and just a hint of salinity, characteristic of the Gosset style.

"White truffle and Parmesan cheese hints on the nose, as well as a deeply golden hue, hint at the depth and complexity of this statuesque Champagne. Softly creamy in texture, with the fine china–like acidity and a streak of salinity working in tandem to define layered flavors of plumped white cherry, dried apricot, pain d'épices, honeycomb and roasted nuts. A fragrant, savory thread of dried mint, saffron, smoke and oyster shell gains momentum and lingers on the lasting finish."

"There's linear drive to this focused, harmonious Champagne, yet racy acidity is effortlessly integrated with the finely detailed mousse as this carries nectarine, mandarin orange, candied ginger and chopped hazelnut notes. Salty finish."
