A rich, round, and fruity expression of each vintage. The Barbaresco shows notes of strawberry, red fruit, and cherry. The palate shows great integration of the tannins. Notes of blackberry, orange, and floral notes yield to a delicate, palate, and voluminous finish.

“Transparent ruby. Lots of tannin and density. Quite grainy and earthy. I’d keep this rather austere wine awhile. There’s certainly Nebbiolo’s famous tarriness on the finish after distinctly liquorice notes. Then it developed autumn mulch on the nose.”
