Benanti
Etna Bianco DOC
A selection of Carricante grapes from vineyards located on
the eastern and southern slopes of Mount Etna, particularly
suitable given the high altitude and abundant luminosity.
This wine demonstrates a singular nerve as a product from
these region defining slopes and vine selections.
The vines are located on the eastern and southern slopes of Mount Etna. 20 to 60 years old vines, trained as bushes or trellised, trained with free standing bush (“alberello”) and spurred cordon systems. Eastern/southern exposure.

"My passion for Carricante grows stronger with each passing minute and I hope to use my platform to convince as many people as possible that this is the white wine to end all white wines. If you’re skeptical, start with the gold standard: Benanti’s exuberant but refined expression that shows their unparalleled understanding of both the grape and its terroir."
