Benanti
Etna Rosso DOC
A dynamic wine, Benanti Etna Rosso is crafted from a select blend of grapes harvested from vineyards located on the northern, south-eastern, and south-western slopes of Mount Etna. These diverse vineyard sites benefit from the region's volcanic soils and varying altitudes, which impart complexity and depth to the wine. The result is a vibrant and well-balanced red, showcasing the unique character of Mount Etna's terroir, with a refined minerality, fresh acidity, and rich fruit flavors.
Vines are located on the northern, south-eastern and southwestern slopes of Mount Etna. 10 to 60 years old vines, trained with free standing bush (“alberello”) and spurred cordon systems. Volcanic sands, rich in minerals, with sub-acid reaction.

"A bright, balanced red, with an aromatic overtone of medicinal herbs and spices accenting flavors of macerated cherry and raspberry fruit, stone, smoke, milled pepper and paprika. Lightly chewy on the finish. Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio. Drink now through 2033. 10,000 cases made, 3,500 cases imported."
