Vines are located on the northern, south-eastern and southwestern slopes of Mount Etna. 10 to 60 years old vines, trained with free standing bush (“alberello”) and spurred cordon systems. Volcanic sands, rich in minerals, with sub-acid reaction.

2023
"A bright, balanced red, with an aromatic overtone of medicinal herbs and spices accenting flavors of macerated cherry and raspberry fruit, stone, smoke, milled pepper and paprika. Lightly chewy on the finish. Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio. Drink now through 2033. 10,000 cases made, 3,500 cases imported."
